Show Low

For October break, we spent a nice long weekend up in Show Low visiting Grammi & Papa. On Friday, we took a drive to Greer to see the fall leaves and have a picnic by the creek. On Saturday we went to the boys' great Grandpa Bob's house and helped him around his home. Then Sunday we had an early birthday celebration for Colby. Colby was excited to have his cousin, Bentley, come over and play. We had a nice lunch followed by a specially made birthday cake by Colby and Grammi!

Trying to take a picture on a rock of the boys. Carson was afraid of falling and Colby was worried he was going to drop Carter.
On our drive back to Show Low, we stopped at a park in McNary. It would be a really cool park if the community actually took care of it.

Carter, almost 2 months. By 2 months, Carter was weighing 13lbs 5oz. He is such a mellow baby and usually pretty happy too! We love his smiles and his coos too!

the Boys

Since not much is going on in our lives and the boys are always busy doing things, here are more pics of them.
Carter at  6 1/2 weeks. He has started smiling and loves it when you talk to him. He will even make little coos back.

Carson excited to go on a walk. It got a little chilly this week, so he wore a coat.
Colby is ready for a walk. He pretty much jog the second mile.

Carter like many babies likes to have his hands close to his head, maybe he is just protecting himself from his older brothers.

At the beginning of this video you can catch Carter making just a little coo.
Colby loves all the projects they make at school. Here is a cool cat that he made at school.

Carter's Baby Blessing

On October 2nd as Carter was almost 6 weeks old, we gave him a baby blessing. It was fun to have all the family who was in town attend it and have a little brunch with us too.

Black Eyes

Carson is a pretty tough little boy. The other day he comes out of his room rubbing the back of his head. Well come to find out he hit the bottom of his eye. Later I discovered he had 2 black eyes. The one on the right went away fast, but the left one spread all the way across the eye.
