Spring Saturdays

Lately our Saturdays consist of Colby playing in the backyard in the morning and by afternoon he is in his mini pool. Even though the water is freezing, he still enjoys it.

Here he is lining all of his cars up, and then he “fixes” them.

Caught in the Act

Colby knows better than to climb into my baskets. I caught him in the act and not only that but eating in it. I guess since he knows he can't eat on the couch he figured he would try a basket.

He sure loves his fruit.

While cleaning the backyard, I picked up a lizard to show Colby. He freaked out at first when it climbed up his leg then onto his back. He was fine after a few minutes.

Toilet Talk

You are probably wondering why I am showing a picture of Colby on the toilet. Don't worry he is covered up. I unforunately told Colby, if he pooped on the toilet he could wear his Lightning McQueen Pull Ups. He immediately ran into the bathroom and sat on the toilet trying for the next hour. Seriously I'm not joking. He finally got a little to come out. He wore his McQueen pull ups all night without wetting them. FYI: we are not potty training, we are way too busy right now for that.

He has pooped a couple of times on the toilet since then without us pushing him. He usually tells Bryan "poop poop dad." Bryan takes him to the toilet and he does his thing.
