Colby's Celebrations

Colby has been ready to have HIS birthday since July. It has been pretty annoying to hear "NO, it's MY birthday!" for the past 4 months. His birthday finally came. He has been beyond excited to celebrate his third birthday. His celebrations lasted for about a week. We started out celebrating his birthday on Saturday in Mexico, then Monday: my parents took my sister & I and our families out to Red Robin for all of our b-days; Tuesday: Tim & Cara's family brought over a jack-o-lantern for Colby's b-day since he LOVES pumpkins; Wednesday: his actual b-day he received presents from Grandma & Grandpa and talked to his other grandparents on the phone; next Saturday: got dessert for his b-day; and finally Sunday: had his birthday party at our house. SIX days of celebrating has come to an end. Next year we will just tell everyone what day we are celebrating it so he still doesn't think it is going to continue to be his birthday.

This video is of his Mexico B-day song. We used sparklers instead of candles.

Colby loves Mickey Mouse, and since we took him to Disneyland this year, we celebrated with a Mickey cake. Colby was a great little helper in making the cake. Bryan did a great job mixing the flesh tone for Mickey.
