Labor Day weekend, we had a fun time doing things around the valley. Our fun starting Thursday night, when Bryan and I went to a Cardinals Football game. My boss has season tickets and he gave us tickets for the game. Then Friday night we went to the Phoenix Children's Museum. They opened a new exhibit that has a play structure about 3-stories tall. On Saturday, we went to an ASU football game. Then Monday finished off the fun at the zoo.
Children's Museum:
We loved the new wooden climber at the museum. Colby went on it a couple of times. Bryan and I took a turn to climb around in it with him. It is pretty cool!
climbing around the structure
There was a crawl space to get out of the structure. It was a fairly tight squeeze too, for an adult.
lovin' the noodle forest
Carson had a great time in the infant area, he especially loved the bell
this cactus you put a bean bag spider on it and crank the wheel and it throws the spider. pretty popular area.
ASU Football Game:
In the evening, we went to the ASU football game. Bryan was so excited, since it was the first game of the season. We had a great time with family while we were there. At halftime, we asked Colby if he was ready to go home and he said no. He loved the fireworks that went off with every point ASU scored, and they scored a ton of points against Portland St.
Just before the game. Colby was cheering for the yellow team as he called them, and his team (ASU) won.
getting ready for the game to begin. In the upper left corner, you can see the student section filling up while the rest of the stadium is still waiting for people to come in.
ZOO:
We took the kids to the zoo to play at the splash park. Colby had a great time despite it being pretty warm out.

Even Carson got in on the fun. This kid loves the water and being outdoors no matter how hot it is outside.
